Kilim “Polissia”

This piece is entirely handcrafted from the wool sourced from mountain sheep and calls for delicate care:

• It should only be hand-washed with water at a gentle temperature. Ensure to avoid pulling or rubbing it during the cleaning process, and use a detergent specifically meant for woolen products.

• Post washing, simply use your hands to remove excess water, or wrap the kilim in another absorbent material, like a towel, to extract further moisture.

• When drying, place the kilim in a flat position on a towel or a sturdy net. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources to prevent altering its shape or shrinking the wool fibers.

• Regularly give the kilim a good shake to prevent the buildup of crumbs and dust.
